Recently, state oil company PT Pertamina has committed corporate social responsibility funding to securing the program financially well beyond the project lifecycle. On June 2, 2022 the Boyolali District Government enacted a decree that will scale up and ensure the expansion of the MADANI-initiated intervention to all 25 community health centers (Puskesmas), which provide public health care services to more than 260 villages in the district. The Boyolali Government will fund the MCH program through its district budget and the private sector contributions. MADANI’s Lead Partner in Boyolali and the Learning Forum, Masyarakat Madani (FORMMAD), will continue to contribute to the program’s replication through a multi-stakeholder forum that involves different government agencies and community members. Boyolali marks the fourth local government that has acted to support scale-up of MADANI’s local innovations to broaden their effectiveness and reach.
