Meeting to promote the use of Organization Performance Index among CSOs in Bogor

After a series of trainings by USAID MADANI in late 2021, the City of Bogor’s Regional Agency for National Unity and Politics (Kesbangpol) issued on 25 July 2022 a Circular Letter to all its civil society partners to promote the use of the USAID-endorsed Organizational Performance Index (OPI) capacity self-assessment. Kesbangpol encourages local CSOs to use the OPI to identifying their capacity gaps and making commitments to enhance their performance by improving internal procedures, policies, strategic planning, and monitoring and evaluation practices. The City of Bogor’s adoption of the OPI and a new digital database to improve data on local CSOs demonstrates the local government’s increased support for CSOs and recognition of their value to local development.
