The goal of the workshop, which focuses on digital skills and e-business training, is to accelerate participation in the digital economy among female owners of micro- and small businesses in the ASEAN region. More than 200 participants from the ASEAN member states are attending the workshop, hosted by the university’s Asia Pacific Women’s Information Center. Participants in the workshop are learning new digital skills and practical knowledge on e-business, hearing best practices shared by accomplished women entrepreneurs from South Korea, and networking among key stakeholders at the event. With their new knowledge and skills around digital marketing, Persepsi and PPSW will better be able to not only improve their own internal resource mobilization, but also provide capacity development to poor households and women on using digital business tools, part of MADANI’s goal of local CSOs becoming innovators and leaders in their hometowns.
