MADANI was represented in-person by the Chief of Party, Technical Director and Senior Field Coordinator for West Java, with several other staff joining on-line. The provincial government was represented by the head of the provincial Bureau for Cooperation (Biro Kerjasama) and three other staff, with 12 other staff on-line, together with USAID. The meeting resulted in a joint commitment to establish a “MADANI Provincial Working Group” of targeted provincial and district local government agencies that will provide support for joint monitoring and MADANI’s replication in additional districts in West Java. This Working Group will be led by the Bureau for Cooperation, and is planned to by launched during a larger Provincial Coordination Workshop in August that also involves the relevant government agencies in the six targeted districts.
