USAID MADANI Learning Forum Celebrates International Day of Tolerance in Bogor City
On 16 November 2022, the USAID MADANI CSO partner Badan Sosial Lintas Agama (BASOLIA) commemorated the International Day of Tolerance in the City of Bogor (West Java) by hosting an interfaith prayer and long march through the city, emphasizing the importance of communal tolerance and religious diversity.
The event brought together almost 100 people, representing six religions, different ethnic communities, the local government, and women and youth groups. MADANI’s technical assistance has strengthened BASOLIA’s institutional management, which has boosted their ability to promote social inclusion and advocate for community-based involvement to address diversity and tolerance issues.
