Participants at the Muslimat NU Pekalongan organized public hearing on maternal and child health.

More than 50 stakeholders and officials participated in the event, including representatives from the district and village governments, frontline service delivery entities, academia, youth and religious-based CSOs, and the media. Notably, senior representatives from the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform were also in attendance, and specifically expressed their appreciation for the event. This is an example of how national ministries are willing to learn from the innovations of MADANI partners, especially with regards to renewing civil society participation and citizen contribution to government planning and regional decision-making.
